💡 How Change Detection Works

This compares your current script templates against the loaded backup file:

• Load Backup: Upload a previously downloaded backup file
• Check Changes: Compare current script templates against the backup
• Detect Modifications: Find script templates that have been changed since backup
• Detect Deletions: Find script templates that have been deleted since backup

Perfect for: Checking if students modified script templates, comparing different time periods, or verifying template integrity.

• No API required: Works entirely with uploaded backup files
• View templates: See all script templates in the backup
• Preview content: Click preview to see full script content
• Copy scripts: Copy script template content to clipboard

⚠️ Important: API Limitations

The Rundown Creator API does not support creating new script templates. When script templates are deleted, they must be recreated manually.

📋 Manual Recreation Steps

1. Open Rundown Creator in your web browser
2. Go to Script Templates: Navigate to the Script Templates section
3. Create New Template: Click "New Script Template"
4. Set Properties:
   • Name: Use exact name from backup
   • Content: Copy full script content from backup
5. Save Template: Save and test the template

Tip: Use the "View Backups" section to easily copy script content.
